Insulin Glargine is a long-acting insulin that mimics natural human insulin. It is used to manage blood sugar levels in adults, adolescents, and children aged 2 years and older with diabetes. Insulin Glargine provides a steady, long-lasting effect to help control blood sugar levels.

⚠️ Insulin Glargine can cause serious side effects, though they are rare. These include:
? Inform your doctor if you are currently using, or have recently used, other medications, including over-the-counter drugs. This is especially important if you are taking medications for:
? Always follow your doctor's instructions when using this medication. ? Use Insulin Glargine once daily, preferably at the same time each day. ? Insulin Glargine should be injected under the skin (subcutaneously). Do not inject it intravenously (IV) or intramuscularly (IM). ? With each injection, rotate the injection site within the same area of skin to reduce the risk of lumps or bumps. ? Recommended injection sites include: the front of your abdomen, upper arm, or front of the thighs. ? The insulin will work faster when injected in the abdomen. ? Regularly monitor your blood sugar levels as directed by your doctor. ? Insulin Glargine can be used by children 2 years and older, but there is no experience with its use in children under 1 year.
? Keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.
? Do not use after the expiration date printed on the pen and packaging (EXP).
? Keep the pen covered when not in use to protect it from light.
❄️ Before opening: Store unused pens in the refrigerator between 2°C to 8°C, away from the cooling element. Do not freeze.
?️ While in use or as a spare: You can carry the pen with you and store it at below 30°C or in the fridge (2°C to 8°C) for up to 4 weeks. Do not freeze and keep away from direct cooling elements.
? Do not dispose of the medication in sewage or household waste.
