If you are allergic to Glibenclamide, Metformin, sulfonylureas, sulfonamides, or any of the ingredients in this medicine.
If you have type 1 diabetes (insulin-dependent).
If you have diabetic ketoacidosis (severe complications of uncontrolled diabetes).
If you have severe liver or kidney problems.
If you are dehydrated, due to diarrhea or vomiting.
If you have serious heart problems or have had a recent heart attack, or respiratory issues.
If you drink alcohol excessively.
If you are taking Bosentan for high blood pressure.

Inform your doctor if you are recovering from injury, surgery, or infection.
If you have liver or kidney issues.
If you have a glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency.
If you have heart disease.
If you are about to undergo major surgery, stop taking the medication beforehand.
This medication may cause a rare but serious complication known as lactic acidosis, especially in those with kidney dysfunction.
It may also cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), especially if you miss a meal, exercise excessively, or drink alcohol. Signs of low blood sugar include nausea, hunger, shakiness, dizziness, confusion, sleepiness, and sweating. Consume sugar cubes or juice in case of symptoms.

? How to Take Glibenclamide / Metformin Hydrochloride
This medication is for adults only.
Take this medication as directed by your doctor.
Take with food to avoid stomach upset.
The usual starting dose is Glibenclamide 1.25 - 2.5 mg / Metformin 500 - 1000 mg, taken once or twice daily.

Store at room temperature between 20 to 25°C (68 to 77°F).
Keep away from children.
Do not use after the expiration date on the packaging.
