Insulin Aspart / Aspart Protamine 30 is a modern insulin with a rapid and intermediate action, with a 30/70 ratio. Modern insulin products are improved versions of human insulin.
Insulin Aspart / Aspart Protamine 30 is used to reduce elevated blood sugar levels in adults, adolescents, and children aged 10 years and above who are diagnosed with diabetes.
It starts reducing blood sugar within 10-20 minutes after injection, peaks between 1 to 4 hours after injection, and lasts for up to 24 hours. - Insulin Aspart / Aspart Protamine 30 is typically taken just before a meal. Consume a meal or snack within 10 minutes of the injection to avoid low blood sugar. If necessary, it can be given immediately after a meal.
- Insulin Aspart / Aspart Protamine 30 is injected subcutaneously. Do not inject directly into the vein or muscle.
- Change the injection site within a specific area to reduce the risk of lumps or skin indentations.
- The best injection sites are the front of the abdomen (stomach), buttocks, front of thighs, or arms. Insulin will act faster if injected around the abdomen. Always measure blood sugar levels regularly.
? Use in Children and Adolescents
Insulin Aspart / Aspart Protamine 30 can be used in adolescents and children aged 10 years and above when pre-mixed insulin is preferred. There is limited clinical data for children aged 6-9 years. No data is available for children under 6 years.

- During use or when carrying as a spare: You can carry Insulin Aspart / Aspart Protamine 30 with you and keep it at temperatures below 30°C or in the refrigerator (2°C to 8°C) for up to 4 weeks. If refrigerated, keep it away from the cooling element. Do not freeze.
- Do not dispose of the medicine in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of any medicines you no longer use. This will help protect the environment.
