Sitagliptin 100 mg Film-Coated Tablets
Sitagliptin helps increase insulin levels produced by the body after eating and reduces the amount of sugar produced by the body.
Your doctor prescribed this medicine to help lower high blood sugar levels due to type 2 diabetes.
It can be used alone or in combination with other diabetes medications (insulin, metformin, sulfonylureas, or glitazones), which you may already be taking, alongside a diet and exercise plan.
❌ If you are allergic to sitagliptin or any of the other ingredients in this medicine.
⚠️ Pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas) has been reported in some patients.
⚠️ If you experience skin ulcers, it may be a sign of a condition called bullous pemphigoid. Your doctor may ask you to stop using it.
