- Janumet XR is a prescription medicine that contains two medicines:

- Take Janumet XR exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- The usual dose is once a day, taken with food, to reduce stomach upset.
- Swallow the tablets whole – do not crush or chew them.

- Common Side Effects:
- Nausea, upset stomach
- Diarrhea
