Indication: For the treatment of Type 2 diabetes in adults.

Active Ingredient: Canagliflozin.

Class: SGLT2 inhibitors.
⚠️ Do not use Canagliflozin if
❌ You are allergic to Canagliflozin or any of its components.
❌ You have Type 1 diabetes.
❌ You suffer from diabetic ketoacidosis.
❌ You have severe kidney problems or are on dialysis.
❌ You have severe liver issues.
❌ You have serious heart problems or a history of stroke.
⚠️ Precautions
? Talk to your doctor if you are prone to dehydration, rapid weight loss, or symptoms of diabetic ketoacidosis.
? Regular foot care is important if you have had lower limb amputation or have circulation issues.
? If you take blood pressure medications, insulin, or sulfonylureas, talk to your doctor.
? Inform your doctor if you are taking any antifungal medications, or other drugs like Carbamazepine or Rifampicin.
⚠️ Possible Side Effects
✔️ Severe allergic reactions.
✔️ Diabetic ketoacidosis.
✔️ Dehydration.
✔️ Hypoglycemia if taken with insulin or sulfonylureas.
✔️ Urinary tract infections, vaginal yeast infections, skin rashes.
✔️ Changes in urination, constipation, excessive thirst.
⚠️ How to take Canagliflozin
✔️ Starting dose: 100 mg tablet once daily. Your doctor may increase the dose to 300 mg or adjust it if you have kidney problems.
✔️ Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food.
✔️ Take it at the same time every day.
✔️ If you are taking medications like Cholestyramine, take Canagliflozin at least 1 hour before or 4-6 hours after.
? Storage
✔️ Keep it out of reach of children.
✔️ Do not use after the expiration date.
✔️ No special storage conditions required, but avoid using if the packaging is damaged.
