Glimepiride 6 mg Tablets

✅ Why is it used?
? Used to lower blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes (non-insulin dependent).
? Taken alongside a healthy diet and regular exercise.

? Do not take Glimepiride if you:
❌ Are allergic to Glimepiride, other sulfonylureas, or sulfonamides.
❌ Have type 1 diabetes (insulin-dependent).
❌ Have diabetic ketoacidosis (symptoms: nausea, frequent urination, fatigue, muscle weakness).
❌ Are in a diabetic coma.
❌ Have severe liver or kidney problems.

? Warnings & Precautions
⚠️ Inform your doctor if you:
✔️ Are recovering from an injury, surgery, infection, or other stress conditions.
✔️ Have liver or kidney problems.
✔️ Have G6PD enzyme deficiency (may cause anemia).
⚠️ May cause low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) if you skip meals, over-exercise, or consume alcohol.
⚠️ Symptoms of low blood sugar: nausea, hunger, shakiness, dizziness, sweating, confusion, difficulty speaking.
✔️ Solution: Take a sugar cube or some juice immediately.

? Severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling of the face or tongue, difficulty breathing).
? Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).

? How to Take Glimepiride
