Dapagliflozin 10 mg Coated Tablets

Indications

? Used to treat Type 2 diabetes in adults (18 years and above), when the body does not produce enough insulin or cannot use it properly.

Do not use if:

? You are allergic to Dapagliflozin or any of the other ingredients in this medicine.

Warnings

? Diabetic Ketoacidosis: If you experience:

• Nausea, stomach pain, excessive thirst, rapid or deep breathing, confusion, or a sweet taste in your mouth.
• Risk may increase in cases of dehydration, fasting, or increased insulin requirements.

? If these symptoms occur, contact your doctor or the nearest hospital immediately.

Potential Side Effects

⚠️ Stop using and seek immediate medical help if you experience:

• Difficulty breathing or swelling of the face, mouth, or tongue.
• Hives or itching on the face or body.

Drug Interactions

? Inform your doctor if you are taking:

• Diuretics (water pills).
• Other medications to lower blood sugar like insulin or "Sulfonylureas."

How to Use

? Recommended dose: One 10 mg tablet daily (your doctor may start you on 5 mg if you have liver problems). ? Swallow the tablet whole with half a glass of water. It can be taken with or without food, and try to take it at the same time each day.

Storage
